About
DUCK LAX
Duck Lax was never supposed to be a brand. It started as a sideline moment that turned into something a lot bigger than anyone could’ve expected.
The founder of Duck Lax is an 11-year-old Long Island lacrosse player who, during a competitive game, found himself on the receiving end of a classic on-field chirp. An opposing player made fun of his running ability, and in the heat of the moment, he fired back with a simple line that would change everything: “Well… you run like a duck.”
Most kids might’ve left it at that. This one didn’t.
What followed was a quick-witted exchange caught on video that made its way across social media, racking up nearly a million views in a short time. It was funny, it was raw, it was authentic—and it also came dangerously close to costing him his season due to league concerns around electronics use on the field.
Rather than argue or escalate, the player and his family chose a different path. They took the video down—not out of shame, but because they saw an opportunity to turn something viral into something meaningful.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Duck Lax exists for the kids who play hard, laugh harder, and get back up when they’re knocked down—sometimes literally, sometimes verbally, always figuratively.
With every shirt sold, a portion of proceeds is donated to two causes that matter deeply to the founder:
Special Olympics — supporting athletes of all abilities and celebrating true inclusion in sports.
Tunnel to Towers Foundation — honoring fallen first responders and military heroes, and supporting the families they leave behind.
